Lynne Healy, Ph.D.

Lynne M. Healy, M.S.W., Ph.D. is Board of Trustees Distinguished Professor. She currently chairs the Administration concentration and is Chair of the International Issues Focused Area of Study. Lynne teaches courses in administration and leadership, international social work, international development, and social welfare policy. Her areas of specialization include international social work, human rights, social work and non-profit management, gender and multicultural issues in administration and leadership, and ethics. Lynne founded the Center for International Social Work Studies at the School, and is extensively involved in professional activities. She is a past officer of the International Association of Schools of Social Work, and currently chairs the Human Rights Committee and represents the IASSW on NGO Committees at the United Nations.
