Nina Rovinelli Heller, Ph.D., is a Professor of Casework and Chair of the Mental Health and Substance Abuse in Social Work Practice focused area of study. Nina teaches courses in casework practice approaches, casework with vulnerable and resilient populations, clinical conditions with children and adolescents and, clinical conditions with adults and older adults. Her areas of specialization include mental health, clinical practice, women’s issues, and integrative clinical social work theory for social work. Nina holds an appointment as Research Associate at both Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital where she is involved in research on attachment theory in couples through the Center for Adult Development.
