A Gift to the School – Large or Small – Can Make a Difference

Your gift, large or small, to the School of Social Work Annual Fund can help to make the difference between a school that simply meets its needs and one that exceeds the expectations of its students, faculty and community. A gift of $25 can purchase a book or video for the Social Work Library. Two such gifts can help a student attend a professional conference. One gift of $40 can help defray costs to support student and faculty exchange programs with other universities, such as those in Puerto Rico, Armenia, Ireland and the West Indies. Two gifts of $50 can help defray student recruitment costs and three gifts of $100 can pay the honorarium for an important guest speaker. Whatever the size of your contribution, it will be gratefully accepted. Every gift helps the School and its students. The generosity of alumni and friends helps the School maintain its excellence in teaching, research and service and it is a major reason why the UConn School of Social Work is ranked among the leading social work programs in U.S News and World Report.

If your employer or your partner’s employer has a matching gift program, you can easily double the amount of your contribution at no additional cost to you. Please contact your company’s Human Resources office to find out if they have a matching gift program.

In addition to the more traditional methods of giving, you can now make your gift on-line. Please consider making a gift to the School of Social Work.
