Profile Summary

Lirio Negroni, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Puerto Rican/Latino Studies Project. Lirio teaches casework, micro foundation and puerto rican/Latino studies. Her specializations include mental health services to Latino/a children and adolescents, social work practice with abused and neglected children, provision of culturally competent services, social work practice with Latino/a individuals and families, advising/mentoring, and recruitment and retention of Latino/as in social work programs.
