Lisa Werkmeister Rozas, Ph.D.
Lisa Werkmeister Rozas, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor and Director of the Puerto Rican and Latin@ Studies Project. Lisa teaches courses in human oppression, casework, and health disparities. She is the chair of the Human Oppression curriculum unit. Her areas of specialization include cultural competence/responsiveness, pedagogy and diversity, intersectionality, and health disparities, specifically issues of health as a human right and the influence discrimination, power and privilege have on health status.
