Lorin Mordecai, MSW, LSW is a proud alumni of Rutgers University where she earned an MSW in Nonprofit and Public Management and double majored in History and Sociology as an undergraduate. Her research interests involve studying the intersection of violence against women and sports social work. She plans to focus her dissertation on exploring sexual violence within intercollegiate athletics.
Currently, Lorin is assisting Dr. Caitlin Elsaesser in secondary analysis using the LONGSCAN dataset to better understand responses to violence exposure and victimization. She is also a part-time lecturer for Rutgers School of Social Work’s Online MSW Program and facilitator for Northeastern University’s Mentors in Violence Prevention (MVP) Program.
