Office of Research and Scholarship Exhibition 2016
On the afternoon of April 11th, 2016 the School of Social Work Office of Research and Scholarship hosted its seventh annual Research and Scholarship Exhibition. The event kicked off with introductory remarks by Associate Dean Fendrich, followed by a keynote address delivered by Jim Hall, Ph.D., Professor of Social Work at the University of Indiana. His talk was titled “Building a Research Career in Social Work. Linear or Matrix.” Dr. Hall underscored how taking advantage of collaborative opportunities helps to propel a research career forward. Faculty presentations by former Dean’s incentive award winners Rebecca Thomas, Megan Berthold, Bob Fisher, Scott Harding, and Cristina Wilson followed the keynote address. The titles of each of the talks are listed below. All told, about 30 plus faculty, students, and staff attended this year’s events. Planning is already underway for next year’s exhibition.
