Geriatric Social Work Practicum Partnership Program


In July of 2006, the University of Connecticut School of Social Work received a $75,000 research grant from the New York Academy of Medicine and the John A. Hartford Foundation to develop a practicum partner program (PPP) in collaboration with St. Joseph College and Central Connecticut State University. Karen Bullock, PhD, is the principal investigator of the Geriatric Social Work Practicum Partnership Program, which is funded for 3-years to enhance field practice opportunities for MSW and BSW students interested in Working in the Field of Gerontology.
