Career Services

The School of Social Work does not have a career services office, however personalized assistance is available from the University of Connecticut Center for Career Development at the main campus in Storrs.

Call 860-486-3013 to learn more about the career counseling options available to you as a graduate student. Phone appointments are available for those not able to travel to the Storrs Campus to meet with a career counselor. Career counseling sessions often focus on one or more of the following topics:

  • Writing Résumés, CVs, and Cover Letters
  • Preparing for Interviews
  • Effectively Using Social Media for Networking and the Job Search
