A Social Work/Social Services Partnership
The UConn School of Social Work and the Connecticut Department of Social Services (DSS) have worked collaboratively for over forty years through a formal agreement between the two entities. The DSS Office of Organizational and Skill Development (OSD) provides organizational and skill development services to the staff and the organization of the Connecticut Department of Social Services. Core services include:

• E-Learning Development and Delivery
OSD practice methods include training and organizational needs assessments, instructional design based upon adult learning principles and actionable objectives, instructor led training, blended learning, interactive E-learning strategies, multicultural educational design, learn center management, facilitation, LEAN practice support, business process development and support, project management practices and support, strategic planning, coaching, mentoring, and evaluation metrics.
OSD is a comprehensive training and organizational development area that customizes its services provision to DSS and its employees.
