Aminah Ali, MSW, is the Clinical Coordinator of the therapeutic foster care program at Klingberg Family Center in New Britain, CT. Aminah has been at Klingberg for almost 19 years and has served in many roles including as a visitation worker, Wendy’s Wonderful Kids Permanency Worker of the Dave Thomas Foundation, parent outreach worker, and parent education group facilitator. She also served as a therapeutic foster care supervisor before taking over as program coordinator in 2019. Her work focuses on building systems of care and wraparound support services for traumatized children and their foster families. Aminah is the co-chair of the IDEAS committee and a trainer for the Risking Connection trauma training program. She is a leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization and is a consistent champion for strong community partnerships to improve positive outcomes for the youth she serves.
