Elizabeth Jurczak, MSW


Elizabeth Jurczak is a PhD student whose research interests focus on health equity and medical social work. As a former medical social worker, Elizabeth is interested in interprofessional collaboration, tobacco control, and the experiences of vulnerable patient populations in the medical setting with a goal to support their health and wellbeing.

Prior to beginning the PhD program, Elizabeth worked as a Clinical Research Counselor at the Yale School of Medicine. She earned her MSW and a B.A. in Sociology and American Studies from Rutgers University and is a licensed social worker in the state of New Jersey, and a licensed master social worker in the state of New York.
