Elizabeth Jurczak Goldsborough, MSW


Elizabeth Jurczak Goldsborough is a doctoral student at the University of Connecticut School of Social Work. Goldsborough’s research interests are informed by her professional experiences as a medical social worker and are guided by the principles of social justice and advancement of health equity. Current interests include interprofessional collaboration, tobacco and substance use treatment, and palliative care. Goldsborough earned her BA and MSW from Rutgers University and is a licensed social worker in New York and New Jersey. Prior to entering UConn’s PhD program, she worked as a Clinical Research Counselor at the Yale School of Medicine. Goldsborough is a first-generation college student and a 1.5 generation immigrant. She grew up in Poland and New York City and currently resides in New Haven, CT.
