Madri Hall-Faul, MSSW

Madri Hall-Faul, MSSW has a professional background in aging and health policy, with a specific focus on care coordination and coalition building. After graduating with her MSSW with a specialization in Couple and Family Therapy from the University of Louisville’s Kent School of Social Work, Madri started her professional career at an Area Agency on Aging. She worked with community coalitions around the issues of health insurance enrollment and access, planning and health, and care coordination in Louisville, KY.

Madri’s work in the community exposed her to barriers brought on by economic injustice as well as the effects of social welfare policy on different communities.  Madri’s research will focus on social welfare and health policy, human rights, and economic justice, as well as the role of social work in anti-poverty programs and movements. Madri also plans to focus her work on the factors that contribute to the creation and passage of social welfare legislation.
